Program Overview
This proposed dual-focus program on consumer protection and inclusive trade is designed to enhance the participation and influence of civil society actors in trade in Tanzania. The project runs from March 2024 to March 2027. The project aims to empower civil society organizations to strengthen consumer protection and foster inclusive trade practices. It focuses on building a comprehensive consumer protection framework while advancing equitable access to trade for marginalized groups.
Our Impact Across Tanzania
By 2027, the goal is for Tanzania to have a robust consumer protection framework, creating 200 jobs and increasing incomes by an average of 10% across grains, horticulture, and seaweed value chains nationwide. Coverage Area: Arusha, Dar es Salaam, Kilimanjaro, Manyara, Mbeya, Songwe, Tanga, and Zanzibar.
