Inclusive Trade

Empowering marginalized groups in trade.

Empowering women, youth, and PWDs with access to trade opportunities and sustainable practices.

Overview

The Inclusive Trade project aims to empower marginalized groups, including women, youth, and PWDs, through access to climate-smart practices, trade opportunities, export readiness, financial management, and support for the introduction of green technologies. This is achieved through training, coaching, and mentorship of at least 350 enterprises within target value chains in collaboration with TCCIA, SIDO and Stanbic Bank Tanzania. Also, through selected 15 CSOs, the program aims to empower 9,000 smallholder farmers in grains, horticulture, and seaweed.

  • To democratize access to pivotal tools and skills, with a special emphasis on digital skill sets, enabling women, youth, and PWDs to thrive in trade.
  • To collaborate with and embolden civil society actors to take a forefront role in promoting trade practices that disproportionately benefit women, youth, and PWDs, ensuring their needs are prioritized.
